Contrairement \u00e0 d\u2019autres compos\u00e9s utilis\u00e9s dans les \u00e9crans solaires, qui peuvent n\u2019absorber qu\u2019une partie du rayonnement UV, le TiO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0est extr\u00eamement efficace pour prot\u00e9ger contre tous les aspects de la lumi\u00e8re UV qui peuvent affecter la peau en absorbant et en diffusant les rayons UVA et UVB.<\/p>\n<p>Le TiO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0est un filtre solaire min\u00e9ral qui forme une couche protectrice sur le dessus de la peau pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir les rayons UV, alors que les autres filtres chimiques sont absorb\u00e9s par la peau.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][difl_divider separetor_type=\u00a0\u00bbno\u00a0\u00bb divider_line_color=\u00a0\u00bb#000000&Prime; divider_line_width=\u00a0\u00bb1px\u00a0\u00bb _builder_version=\u00a0\u00bb4.27.4&Prime; _module_preset=\u00a0\u00bbdefault\u00a0\u00bb locked=\u00a0\u00bboff\u00a0\u00bb global_colors_info=\u00a0\u00bb{}\u00a0\u00bb][\/difl_divider][et_pb_text _builder_version=\u00a0\u00bb4.27.4&Prime; _module_preset=\u00a0\u00bbdefault\u00a0\u00bb header_3_font=\u00a0\u00bbNoto Sans|600|||||||\u00a0\u00bb global_colors_info=\u00a0\u00bb{}\u00a0\u00bb]<\/p>\n<h3>Le Comit\u00e9 scientifique pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des consommateurs (CSSC) de la Commission europ\u00e9enne a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 un certain nombre d\u2019\u00e9valuations de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et a conclu que le TiO<sub>2<\/sub><span>\u00a0<\/span>contenu dans les \u00e9crans solaires peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme ne pr\u00e9sentant aucun risque d\u2019effets ind\u00e9sirables chez l\u2019homme.<\/h3>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\u00a0\u00bb4.27.4&Prime; _module_preset=\u00a0\u00bbdefault\u00a0\u00bb hover_enabled=\u00a0\u00bb0&Prime; global_colors_info=\u00a0\u00bb{}\u00a0\u00bb sticky_enabled=\u00a0\u00bb0&Prime;]<\/p>\n<p>Les principales \u00e9valuations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par le SCCS en 2013 et 2014 et ont conclu que le TiO<sub>2<\/sub> jusqu\u2019\u00e0 25 %, le maximum \u00e9valu\u00e9, \u00e9tait s\u00fbr pour une peau saine, intacte ou br\u00fbl\u00e9e par le soleil. Le SCCS a \u00e9galement conclu que les particules restent sur la couche externe de notre peau et ne sont pas absorb\u00e9es par la peau ou les tissus sous-cutan\u00e9s lorsqu\u2019elles sont appliqu\u00e9es sous forme de cr\u00e8me. Le SCCS a exclu les applications par pulv\u00e9risation de ses conclusions car elles ne disposaient pas d\u2019informations suffisantes. La s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du TiO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0dans les \u00e9crans solaires a \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9e \u00e0 nouveau lors de r\u00e9examens et d\u2019avis ult\u00e9rieurs du SCCS en 2018 et 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Le TDMA a soumis de nouvelles informations sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et pr\u00e9voit de r\u00e9aliser les m\u00eames tests pour d\u2019autres types de TiO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0utilis\u00e9s dans les produits cosm\u00e9tiques pour rassurer quant \u00e0 leur s\u00e9curit\u00e9. L\u2019utilisation du TiO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0dans les \u00e9crans solaires est largement autoris\u00e9e au niveau mondial.<\/p>\n<p>Les filtres min\u00e9raux tels que le TiO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0sont les seuls \u00e0 \u00eatre g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement reconnus comme s\u00fbrs et efficaces (GRASE) par la Food and Drug Administration (FDA) des \u00c9tats-Unis, tandis que certains filtres organiques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 interdits en raison de leurs effets n\u00e9fastes sur les r\u00e9cifs coralliens ou pour des raisons de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column
