Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa nature \u2018invisible\u2019, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire transparente, <span> <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2020-11\/inu-sc110220.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">les cellules solaires peuvent<\/a><span> <\/span>\u00eatre int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans des fen\u00eatres, v\u00e9hicules, \u00e9crans de t\u00e9l\u00e9phones et autres produits du quotidien.<\/p>\n<p>Le professeur Joondong Kim et ses coll\u00e8gues du Incheon National University en Cor\u00e9e du Sud ont <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0378775320311691?via%3Dihub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">publi\u00e9<\/a> leur d\u00e9couverte dans le <em>Journal des Sources d\u2019Energie <\/em>(Journal of Power Sources) en janvier 2021. Le groupe y souligne que TiO<sub>2<\/sub> est un semi-conducteur id\u00e9al pour les cellules solaires puisqu\u2019il absorbe le rayonnement UV invisible \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153il nu, tout en laissant passer la lumi\u00e8re visible. Par ailleurs, il est \u00e9galement neutre envers l\u2019environnent, rendant son utilisation plus commode.  <\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude pourrait amener son lot d\u2019innovations dans le domaine des cellules photovolta\u00efques (CPV). Les panneaux solaires actuels ont tendance \u00e0 \u00eatre opaques, du coup, il faut les aligner sur les toits ou dans des fermes solaires \u00e9loign\u00e9es. Ces contraintes ont motiv\u00e9 le professeur Joondong Kim et ses coll\u00e8gues \u00e0 trouver des mat\u00e9riaux nouveaux. Ces travaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2021-01\/inu-otr010521.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">encourageant<\/a>: avec une conversion en puissance de 2,1%, les performances de la cellule furent assez bien satisfaisantes, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 qu\u2019on ne cible qu\u2019une partie du spectre de la lumi\u00e8re. La cellule est aussi hautement r\u00e9active et fonctionne dans des conditions de lumi\u00e8re basse. De plus, plus de 57% de la lumi\u00e8re visible et transmise au travers des couches internes de la cellule, ce qui lui donne son aspect transparent.     <\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs se sont aussi attach\u00e9s \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer comment ces cellules solaires pourraient bien alimenter un petit moteur.
